
Rosa Brown is a senior analyst with the Renewables in Remote Communities program, based in British Columbia. She has a decade of career experience focused on Indigenous and community clean energy in the North, having worked previously with the government of the Vuntut Gwitchin First Nation, and more recently, overseas to support GHG emissions reductions in Shetland, Scotland.
Before her career shifted toward clean energy, Rosa gained broad career experience with Indigenous governments and the implementation of land and wildlife co-management provisions of modern treaties.
Rosa completed a Master of Sustainability in energy security with the University of Saskatchewan and holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an honours specialization in wildlife biology from the University of Guelph.
